Unfortunately, the reality of Grokipedia is far removed from this grand ethos. Instead of being a comprehensive, reliable treasure of information, it\u2019s slipping into chaos \u2013 largely due to its recent update that allows anyone to propose edits.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s worth noting that Grokipedia wasn\u2019t always open to such anarchic inputs. Launched in October, the internet was introduced to approximately 800,000 Grok-written articles \u2013 comprehensive, yes, but flawed. These articles couldn\u2019t be edited by the masses initially and were generally viewed as controversial. Allegations of racism, transphobia, and disproportionate praise for Musk himself filled the air. At points, Grokipedia seemed more like a clone of Wikipedia rather than an improvement, with parts appearing to be straight-up copied.
